Flosstradamus at Quartyard – September 30th, 2016
Flosstradamus spent the last 8 years breaking new sounds around the globe and becoming club kings in the process. But how do they keep doing it? J2K and Autobot’s knack for flipping your favorite tracks in unexpected new ways (from their earliest DJ blends to high-energy hybrids like the duo’s hit remix of Major Lazer’s “Original Don”) certainly helps. So does having a catalog of original bangers on Fool’s Gold, Green Label Sound and Mad Decent/Jeffree’s. Yet the real reason Floss has been able to reinvent party rocking for close to a decade is because these Chicago boys bring an irresistible sense of fun to every single set, whether it’s a sweat-soaked nightclub or in front of thousands at Lollapalooza. Armed with a gang of new tunes straight from the studio and a brand new, extra-hype stage show, Flosstradamus is coming back to a town near you… get ready to juke!
Armed with a refined sound, Los Angeles based Producer/DJ, Shintaro Yasuda, is set to have Electronic fans and industry insiders looking out.
Already known in artist circles as a well-rounded musician, he’s spent the last several months crafting his artist sound – a unique blend of Bass, Jungle, Trap, Hip-hop, and House, to pair with his signature arrangements and distinct melodies from years of Pop and R&B writing. His new noise will be hitting underground clubs, indie-Dance labels, and banging in the sets of some of the hottest DJs in Dance this year.
As a versatile songwriter he spent the last several years in Pop artist writing sessions, cutting his producer chops on remixes for off-genre artists Nervo, Joe Jonas, and SAF, and touring on keyboards for London R&B Singer, Producer, Songwriter, Sensation – SOHN. Classically trained at piano from a young age and skilled at multiple instruments including piano, bass, sax, drums and clarinet, he draws from a wealth of musical influence.
Sparks over the last year came from his single “Louder!” on Crowd Records supported by The Reef, Far East Movement, Brazzabelle, Wiwek, Max Vangeli, and Juyen Sebulba and an underrated collab “Borena” with rising EDM producer, Brazzabelle. After releasing singles “Smasha” and “Crisis” and garnering support from several top tier artists including GTA, Laidback Luke, Anna Lunoe, Tommie Sunshine and others, Shintaro set his focus on developing his artist brand.
This diverse up-and-coming producer will be charting on influencers and underground watch lists coming your way soon.
