Swedish born Christian Karlsson is a man of many talents. One third of genre-defying band Miike Snow, one half of superstar production duo Bloodshy & Avant, and one third of new Swedish electronic group Galantis, Karlsson likes to get involved and do it all. Together with Pontus Winnberg & Andrew Wyatt, Miike Snow have recently released their second album ‘Happy To You’, a follow up to 2009’s critically acclaimed self-titled debut. Most recently they have been on the road, bringing their captivating live show and the ‘blob’ (their own self-constructed multi-instrument contraption) to sold out crowds across the US, Europe & Australia (including headlining the second stage at Coachella in LA back in April).

As for Bloodshy & Avant (aka Karlsson & Winnberg), American Grammy winning producer duo extraordinaire, the twosome have worked across pretty much a ‘who’s who’ list in the superstar pop world - Madonna, Britney, Kylie, Kelis, Depeche Mode.. the list goes on. Karlsson & Winnberg do a lot of their work from Stockholm in their own ‘Studio Robotberget’, which also serves as the name for their newly-born record label (www.robotberget.com), an outlet for them and their friends to release music they love. This in turn was the inspiration behind new Swedish collective Galantis.

Galantis – a Swedish trio consisting of Karlsson and two of his close friends, Style of Eye -the long respected Swedish techno/house DJ whose most recent projects include remixes of Icona Pop & Kylie and a forthcoming EP on Fools Gold, and Carli, a talented DJ & producer as part of Savage Skulls and who has also featured on the latest offering from Crookers, Dr Gonzo. Together, Galantis are a force to be reckoned with, set to takeover with their own brand of Dark Swedish House. New single ‘Raveheart’ is already getting strong support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong & Annie Mac and looks set to grow.
